RELIC is a proprietary tank mix adjuvant featuring a drift and deposition enhancing agent intended for use with a range of crop protection tank mix partners.
RELIC maximizes spray application performance by improving coverage, reducing spray droplet bounce, and providing enhanced retention and infiltration on the targeted leaf surface.
RELIC suppresses off-target drift by providing a more uniform pattern and velocity of the spray droplets.
RELIC can be used with air assist and conventional spray nozzles for applications including but not limited to herbicides, desiccants, insecticides, fungicides, and plant-growth regulators.
Many factors affect off-target drift such as spray boom height, nozzle configuration, spray pressure, temperature, wind, and thermal inversion.
RELIC will not eliminate all drift.
- Polyoxyethylene Sorbitan Fatty Acid Ester: Serves as an emulsifier and dispersing agent. Helps to evenly distribute and mix various components, ensuring that active ingredients are effectively spread across the target aids in distribution of spray coverage
- Vegetable Oil Ethoxylate: Concentrated, plant-derived oil that is reacted with ethylene oxide to provide properties of both an oil and nonionic surfactant adjuvant.
- Alpha-Beta Pinene: Provides more uniform spray pattern by reducing spray fines resulting in improved spray coverage
- Soybean Oil Ethoxylate: Improve the deposition, absorption, and permeation behavior of crop control solutions on plant surfaces.
- Antifoam: Suppresses foam formation during tank mix agitation
Recommended Rate For Herbicides*: 2 to 3 ounces per acre in 5 to 25 gallons per acre spray rate.
Recommended Rate For Fungicides & Insecticides*: 2 ounces per acre in 5 to 25 gallons per acre spray rate.
*Do not exceed 2 quarts of RELIC per 100 gallons.
Direct Injection Rates For Herbicides: 2 to 3 ounces per acre in 5 to 25 gallons per acre spray rate.
Direct Injection Rates For Fungicides & Insecticides: 2 ounces per acre in 5 to 25 gallons per acre spray rate.
- Direct Injection Instructions
- RELIC can be applied through injection systems when added to one of the system’s chemical injection tanks.
- An in-line mixing chamber is recommended.
- First, add RELIC to the chemical injection tank;
- Second, pump the correct amount of RELIC into the line;
- Third, pump the proper amount of water, pesticide, fertilizer and other adjuvants into the line, for mixing with RELIC and chemicals, before going into the spray boom.
- Mixing Instructions:
- Add RELIC after pesticides or other adjuvants are introduced to spray mixture but prior to completing the filling of the spray tank.
- Before making large scale applications, conduct a jar test containing all ingredients to confirm compatibility.
