CropBond™ is a plant-based, modified starch adjuvant that is formulated for use as an activator, extender and sticker to increase the efficacy and longevity of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizer tank mix partners.
CropBond maximizes crop protection product performance by improving spray coverage and through enhanced retention and infiltration of the targeted leaf surface.
Through its natural slow-release properties, active ingredients are released uniformly thereby reducing abiotic stress on the crop.
- Hydroxypropyl Starch: Non-toxic, plant-derived completely biodegradable starch that is water soluble. Forms superior adhesion and coating properties to retain active ingredients longer onto targeted surface. Dry starch film resists rainfall and irrigation wash-off. Minimizes evaporation of spray deposit.
- Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate: Lowers and buffers pH to assist stability of formulation. Enhances efficacy of active ingredients due to slight acidity.
- Tetraprenol: Oil properties assist spreading across targeted surface
Rates for Herbicides and Fertilizers:
24 fluid ounces per acre.
Rates for Acaricides and Fungicides:
24 to 56 fluid ounces per acre.
Rates for Insecticides:
24 to 56 fluid ounces per acre.
NOTE: The use with insecticides is not approved in California!
Prior to application, make sure all equipment is properly cleaned. Always follow directions found on accompanying crop control or fertilizer product labels.
1. Fill spray tank one-half full of water and begin agitation.
2. Add CropBond first to tank mix.
3. Continue agitation.
4. Add liquid soluble crop protection products and fertilizers continuing agitation.
5. Fill the remaining tank with water while continuing agitation.
