SoilAssist™ is a specialized blend of modified starch with deposition enhancing agents designed to improve deposition and soil residual activity for most herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and nutrients when used in a soil application.
SoilAssist provides improved efficacy and enhances the performance of a range of soil applied crop protection spray applications.
Crop protection products and fertilizers are more readily adsorbed to the targeted soil root zone resulting in reduced potential for leaching of the active ingredients.
Features & Benefits
- Hydroxypropyl Starch: Applied as an adjuvant with pre-emergence herbicides and liquid fertilizers as soil retention agent. During heavy rainfall prevents herbicides and fertilizers from leaching into deeper soil layers. Forms a polymer layer as the spray coating dries. The starch film absorbs moisture and forms a gel, which penetrates further into the soil. The active plant protection ingredients are released and retained longer in the topsoil.
- Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate: Lowers and buffers pH to assist stability of formulation. Enhances efficacy of tank mix partners due to slight acidity.
- Tetraprenol: Oil properties assist spreading across targeted surface

Use Rates
General Ground Use Application:
24 fluid ounces per acre.
Turf Application:
3 fluid ounces per 1,000 square feet.
Mixing
- Prior to application make sure all equipment is properly cleaned.
- Always follow directions found on accompanying crop protection or nutrient labels.
- Fill spray tank one-half full of water and begin agitation.
- Add SoilAssist first to tank mix.
- Add liquid soluble crop protection products and nutrients while continuing agitation.
- Fill the remaining tank with water while continuing agitation.
