SPRAY-ZONE
WATER CONDITIONING AGENT • DRIFT REDUCTION AGENT • DEPOSITION AID
SPRAY-ZONE is a multi-functional drift/deposition management concentrate and water conditioning agent.
SPRAY-ZONE minimizes off-target drift, slows spray droplet drying time, enhances spray deposition while reducing hard-water mineral antagonism of herbicide mixtures.
SPRAY-ZONE contains pH buffering and sequestering agents to enhance pesticide performance.
Features & Benefits
- Ammonium Sulfate: Conditions spray water to minimize hard water mineral antagonism of spray mixtures. Ammonium ions assist uptake of active ingredients and prevent surface crystallization of certain crop protection herbicides
- Glycerol: Imparts humectant properties to spray deposit; slows drying time and minimizes loss to evaporation
- Phosphoric Acid: Improves application deposition: Ensures that the spray is distributed evenly across the target area. Enhances spreading and wetting: Allows the spray to cover a larger surface area and adhere better to plant surfaces. Aids in penetration: Helps the active ingredients in the spray to infiltrate plant tissues more effectively. Buffers pH: Adjusts the pH of the tank mix to optimize the effectiveness of certain pesticides.
- Citric Acid: Lowers pH and conditions water to mitigate hard water mineral antagonism of herbicide
- Polyacrylamide Polymer: Viscosity modifier formulated to reduced off-target drift and enhance spray deposition onto plant surfaces.
- Antifoam: Suppresses foam formation during tank mix agitation
Resources
Use Rates
Ground and Air Rates
Normal Use: 2 to 3 quarts per 100 gallons of water
Hard Water: 3 quarts per 100 gallons of water
Mixing
- Unless otherwise instructed by herbicide label, fill tank one-half full with water and begin agitation, then apply SPRAY-ZONE first to the tank mix while agitating, then add other tank mix ingredients and complete filling spray tank water.
